Well, I want to see it. I remember the disbelief I felt that day, the anger, the sadness. Somehow I think it will honor those who gave their lives willing to do what they could do for their country. "Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13
To me, THAT is living out your faith and I hope I could do the same.

I'm not sure about the movie yet. I saw some of the interviews with the family members on the flight and their reactions to the movie. I know what they did was heroic but I'm not to the point I'm ready to see what I've heard, if that makes any sense. I would agree with D that the flood of emotions returning because of the attack on innocent people at all levels and all ages just rips a hole in my heart that I'm not ready to repatch again.

I remember Dolan where I was when it happened and what I was doing. I have heard people from other generations that remember where they were when someone like Kennedy got shot and always thought, "Why would you remember where you were and what you were doing." Now I know, it was just that kind of moment in time that draws a permanent image on the mind like art on a cave wall to carry forward a story for others to hear for generations to come.

I can't even look at that picture without that nauseating feeling. I remember when you did that picture. I didn't have that same reaction initially maybe because I was at least a little numb then. The images in that picture and so many more instantly begin an automated slideshow in my mind - it's just too much.
There was an interview on some late night show the other night and they were talking to the parents of one of the school children killed on one of the planes. I'd forgotten about those kids until that interview

I don't think I can see it either .... in fact I'm sure that I can't see it
There are a couple of reasons - the main reason requires such a long explanation I'd have to save it for my own blog should I choose to delve into THAT publicly LOL but the other main reason is that whenever I see the previews for this i'm nauseated all over again and the feelings that I experienced that day and in the days immediately following come flooding back with the same intensity as it did that day. I can think of absolutely no good reason to do that all over again.
