I know you meant this seriously, and when I get done giggling I will take it that way. The Oprah and Dr Phil just got me. Okay, now I'm done giggling for a minute. I have always looked at the word placebo as the place you look for answers and I could fall into a few of those categories at one time in life and since redirecting that place for answers to Jesus it makes a big difference in how I look at the whole world. I know it isn't funny to be relying on those things and more for assurance or comfort and today it still upsets me that I turned there for the answers. But I also have that as testimony and reminder of what life is like without Christ. The opportunity to have a one on one relationship with Christ that reassures me about everything is so cool. The written Word and His answers to prayers are worth more than any empty bottle can ever be. It is just that, an empty bottle. When the bottle is empty and there is nothing left to fill the hurt, there is no where to turn. But with Christ, He nevers runs out and never leaves us. He is so AWESOME! Thanks for the reminder today.
