I have always looked at the start of a new year as a time to right the wrongs, finish the unfinished, lose the gained and fix the broken. This year I was thinking about why are there wrongs to be righted and unfinished to be finished. What did I do or not do last year that I now have to start the new year off doing? It reminded me of how it is good to look forward but it is so important to know where I came from. I’m not talking about living in the past - just remember it. Well there are things left undone from last year that I still need to take care of. But my goal for this year is to get that done up front so I can start the next year with new projects, not the leftover stuff.

I pray that God’s peace will be you everyday of this new year.
